chocolate mud cake-a success!

So I finally made a rich, moist chocolate mud cake and it is fabulous! We tried it plain just after it came out of the oven and it really was yummy. Took a large chunk over to the neighbours, served on a plate with a dollop of cream and fresh strawberries and blackberries.
Went to the wholesalers to stock up on sweets for decorating cupcakes and couldn't walk out without buying some popping candy-I seem to be addicted to the stuff.
Today was the first time this year I made some Christmas trees and snowflakes out of icing so yes-the winter is officially here. Also made some bright pink flowers out of sugar paste.
Well, off to do a couple of batches of butter cream and finish off the large cheeseburger cake, all before 9pm so I can watch the Apprentice...
I guess I should make some dinner too. Ta-ra!
